The cottage's private location was a perfect escape, equipped with everything we needed to unwind. Lezelda and her daughters were warm hosts, ensuring our stay was comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast surrounded by stunning gardens, which were well-kept. The pool area was another hit, especially with the little ones. One of the highlights was renting fishing boats for a fantastic day out on Knysna Lagoon, where we tried our luck at local reef fishing. The kids also joined me for boat-based whale watching, making unforgettable memories. It's great that the area has family-friendly amenities like a small play area and even sailing courses for older kids. We loved our stay so much that we're already planning a return visit. Stannards feels like a home away from home, with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. If your family enjoys nature and adventure, this is the place to be!
